Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

 

            1 (12oz) package bacon, cut in half

            1 (8oz) can sliced water chestnuts

            1 cup 3 tablespoons chili sauce   

            ½ cup 3 tablespoons brown sugar

            1 tablespoon 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

 

            Preheat oven to 375°.

 

            Mix brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and chili sauce in a bowl, set aside. 

            With cut bacon wrap chestnuts securing with toothpick. 

            Arrange wraps in a 9x13 baking pan (sprayed with Pam). 

 

            Bake for 15 minutes and remove from pan and drain grease.

 

            Place wraps back in pan and cook for an additional 30 to 35 minutes until bubbly

            and crisp.  If you would like you can broil them for the last 5 minutes. 

            Make sure to watch them so they don’t burn.
